My first Uwharrie Trip

My brother and I went the the Uwharrie NF on the 26th to hit some of the trails before they close for the winter. Didn't get too many good pics because he was afraid I was going to roll down a hill on to him, so I'll just post the good ones.

Look at all that flex:

ummm...mud:

Comming down:

More rutts:

Going up on Dickey Bell:

TRD

I need someone to run it with me when they open in April.

ahh the first uwharrie run, i cant wait for the spring. I'm reminded of my first big trip there in 2003. . .

"why the hell did i stop moving. guess i shoulda invested in that locker"

yes thats a smitty-built side step and yes im aware it provides no protection against rocks, it was almost immediatly bent beyond recognition and trashed. I was young and stupid
