hey do you have the tools for the snorkel install. like the 83 mm hole cutter? The install is easy and if your half decent with tools (unlike me) it should take about 90 min.

Yea I will just wait.... I don't need it for Uwharrie just was trying to make the cool factor Higher... Turbo I'm going to have to pass on Camping sorry if you made plans for us. I work out of town and I'm only at home Friday and Saturday, I haven't been home in 3 weeks and have alot to do around the house. I will be down Saturday morning early.... by 8:00 What is the ralley point. Let's make it some where easy like the outpost everyone know where it is.... It is hard to find all the different campsites everyone is staying at. Some are on the trail, some are in sites, some are coming down early.

I voting the post @ 8:00 I coming to wheel not sleep Inn, or waste time hanging around trying to get people motivated.

Hey Mike and Will,
Would it be ok if I jump in on your site and split the cost? It looks like every spot in the whole place is taken (either that or they say they are b/c of the 4 day thing) but either way I'm not paying $50 for a shower. There is a lake and gosh darnit i'm in college!

You do have a point with the whole 8 thing. There will be the least traffic earily in the morning. I guess we could meet at 8. I hear its easy to find the arrowhead campground but if you really want to meet at the outpost That would work too.

No problem Turbo, I'm sure we can find a spot for you to stay.

For all those with CB's. What channel shoud we monitor? I have a uniden 110 with a Firestick so I should be able to reach anyone on the hardball that may need directions.

Austin, Emailed you my and Mikes Phone # Dont theyll work there but you never know.
P.S. I'm electing you to be the contact for all phone #s and communications!

I'll be coming in Saterday night around 8, I'll try calling Sam(if Austin has his #) and knowing he has Verizon and we have service down there. If not, could at least one person be back at the arrowhead camp at that time, or leave me a sign so I can get in the right spot. Me and the new guy John will be coming in together. I'm up for some night wheel'n, if the people staying at the campground want to meet me there and we can head out right then or a little later for some night trails that would be kick a$$, I want to get in some quality time with the new rig, I need to get to know her, this will be her first time off road since I bought her. Gota get familiar with it stock before I got crazy with the credit card and the transformation begins. .

Mike, and Will, I've never seen this campground, I know at Badin lake we were able to fit about 5 trucks into one spot. Is there enough to squeez another 2 in there with you, if not John and I might make a night run back into the woods and find the others.

Two more there would again cut the cost of things for everyone, I'm sure John won't mind paying his part, I'm volentering him and I've never even met the guy.

Scott, the fuel injection cleaner is made by 3M. Have to get it at a napa or car quest store. Advanced and auto zone dont carry it. As for the site size, not sure how big till we get there. We only reseved a single which is supose to be for 8 people and 4 rigs. We will have 4 peps and 3 rigs not including Austin or yourself. I dont mind if you all crash there. Just got to see how much space there is for rigs.

We'll see, if John and I can't find Will and Mike's site, we'll swing around and come looking for yall. It shouldn't be hard finding a 4Runner, it's rear that people wheel $30K SUVs. What other rigs will you be with while your there. I hope everyone is at their site around 8(eating dinner hopefully), we can find Will and Mike, then come get you and try and get in contact with the rest of the guys, then we could hit the trails late and the traffic should be at minimum.
-Scott

You are correct. Just try to get there as early as possible. All of the off trail spots get taken pretty quick, atleast the good ones.

Is there anyway we can meet again like mid-day? Say around 2 or 3? It will be near impossible to get my GF and everyone else im camping with up before 10:00. after that we are gonna want bfast so i doubt we'll get on the trails before 11:00. I dont want to inconvience yall but we could even meet at that big parking lot that is nearest to dickey bell and rocky mountain loop

Anybody that knows the trails? The problem with me is that I don't know the trails. We could plan for a pack lunch and meet you guys at like 12. We just have to plan our wroute around ending up there. I could just see us ending up on the other side of the park and having 10min to get there they you get pissed for waiting around and we get pissed bla bla bla. Sam, I have your number so when I get everyone's I can call you and tell you so don't worry about not having a computer. Plus, I think you and scott are the only ones that have verizon. Lets make 22 the dedicated cb channel. Jon/Matt where are you staying? Are you going to just meet us at 8 at the outpost? The last thing I'd want would to loose you guys with one truck with a bad output shaft.

PS, next meet... we are voting on where to stay and we are all staying together! I'm going to try and talk to one of the rangers and see if we can't get a group rate if we all stay in a campsite so we would all pitch in on campsites because this is rediculous! Too many people too spread out with different schedules!

Which reminds me... jeremy are you going to make it? Is anyone from raleigh comming to the meet? Wolfpack? I need to get yall your decals.

enough for now... i'm going to go get my freshly painted skid plate back on...

Ok cool, I just hadn't heard from him in a while about comming so I'm glad I'll get to see his rig and get you your decals.

Dave, Sure come on down! I'll bring all that I got. There should be one for ya. oh yeah... and get the insurance on the dakota

I might have recruited somebody to come up with me (haven't met him but I keep seeing his taco that looks IDENTICAL to my 4Runner (has a top). I finally saw his rig parked last night and left a note with my number our site and that we were going on a trip this weekend. He called back saying he might be interested (WOOT, i might not be making the trip alone!!) Anyway we might have a full campsite of white yotas! (and lower prices!)

Yeah, so OLD BOLTS SUCK!! I broke 2 of the front bolts insite the frame on the front of the skid plates... yeah... I plan on ripping them off unless chris brings his welding stuff Which would be nice!! but... oh well if not. Better excuse to get real protection!
