why would they drive their trucks that far and then not run the trials? Or do you mean just trail ride separatly ?

John, you can ride down with me on Saterday night if you want, I get off at 6:00 and we could head out right after that. Then neither of us would have to make the drive alone, it's gets boring after an hour or so in the boonies . John, give me a call sometime this weekend or whenever(880-0012 cell #), we need to meet sometime, and we can figure some Uwharrie stuff out if you wanna head down there with me.

We can make a night run if anyone is up for one on Satderday night, and then we can do some trails on Sunday. How many people are for sure going to be there Sunday?

My truck has been holding it's oil alot better now, go figure , either way I know I'll be taking up the rear until I get the money to rebuild, Mike told me he would help me rebuild and do some minor mods to help give some HP and hold it's fluid better.

Just a question

Is everyone planning to stay Friday and Saturday night or just Friday night?

hah no... they are deff running the trails i just dont know if they would want to ride with us or not. If they do there will be about 4 cars with them so im thinking we would have a loooongg line of truck running through the woods.

I am staying two nights. I dont see the point of driving 3 hours just for one.

Sweet there will be plenty of people around to make Sunday fun, I may or may not bring a ride along/ alternate dirver.

John that will be really cool to have a video of the trip, we need to find a way to post it. Austin can find a way, he's into all that media stuff. This is gona be crazy with people bring friends and extra Heeps coming to play, it's gona take hours to make it down a trail, oh well, that's the best, nice easy relaxing Sunday drive, with ROCKS and MUD.

Since we already have welder, anyone want to bring a plasma cutter? I need to trim some fenders, these 35's rub bad at full turn.

I could steal the schools plasma cutter.... but then i guess we'd need somewhere to plug it in, and it would take up too much space. Ive got a 14.4V Sawzall if you want me to bring it.

Ive got a 300w inverter... not that that would be enough for anything heavy... it could probably charge the sawzaw though. Man... car camping is ROUGH! hehe... too bad I don't have my dad's 12v tv from when he had a sail boat. then i could bring the ps2 juuuuuust kiddin.... I'm not totally sure the heep is comming, but its a maybe. HA, 3hr trips... cry me a ______ river... Ive got a 5hr trip. I'm making the gf come along so the trip won't be so bad. Plus she has never really been camping and also has a thing about being clean... shes already dreading the showers... haha!! oh... females... I guess I'll be at the campsite. Anyone want to share a slip or do you guys think we could squeeze another tent/rig in the spot you guys already have reserved or does chris want to camp too in which case we could get our own...?

Oh yeah, and we have another trail pooch... I hope you guys are ready for a dog that has way too much energy. Though... she does calm down eventually... I guess this will be a good test of her off leash skills... they aren't very fine tuned yet. :pat: and I think it was mike or will that was taking fresh seafood orders... I might have one order for the gf. I'll let you know.

Man, I'm getting excited!

Coo, do you want to call and reserve a spot at the arrowhead place so we can be with the other croud? It would make things a bit more simple and my gf is going to want the showers... We might have a social tent... my gf is in product design and one of her first projects was to make a tent and she made a massive like 10 person tent. We are going to set it up sometime this weekend to see if it has held up. I also have another tent thats my step-mom's just incase also. OOh, what did you get!? What did you get!? I hope he/she likes to play b/c nali goes nuts when other dogs are around and does nothing but want to play. (oh, and just a fair warning to jon and matt she kinda gets wierd when shes in my truck and sees another dog. she goes NUTS until she meets them. It only sounds like she wants to kill them... she really likes other dogs but for somereason she freaks out )

How is the weather up there guys? its sunny and in the low 80s all weekend here! :beach:

hey guys, it looks like me and one other guy from the club are headin down there on thursday eve to reserve campsites, we are just gonna be hangin around the hunt camp area most of friday till the rest of our group arives. I think most of us are leavin on sunday night too, so stop on by if yall want, just look for a bunch of ramchargers, as they will make up the majority of our group.
I hope yall know that there is a landrover group holding and event called uwharrie safari or somethin like that, so i think its gonna be kinda crowded. See ya on the trails.

Dang it, I hate crowds, just our group alone is gona be a long train of trucks, now Land Rovers. <---- Rover Owners. Sam bring your sawzall just in case for me, I'm not sure I might be able to fix it with some rear's up front and chevies out back. Either way I'll be on the 31s for Uwharrie. .

Austin glad to hear you'll be joining us in the pamperd area, I wish I could find the group on the trail, but I don't think I late evening run into the woods alone trying to find some Runners in the brush sounds like a good idea.

I can't wait, now all better go as planed, I'm going to be pissed if I don't get out of work on time.

Hey Austin, we have sit #2, and Site 3 and 4 are still open. They are the only ones left near us. As for dogs, my traveling dog is a 3 year old female german sheppard, not full grown yet and she weighs 100 pounds(still thin). Shilo is a big baby but tends to be a brat and still thinks she has to be head bitch (hard to get a dog sitter for her) . Just let us know about the sea food.

Just an fyi if it can wait till then, Ill be down on sunday with a group of KJ's. Prior obligation sorry, dont hate me. lol But I will have my sawzall and power invertor. (always do) If it can wait till then. No way to run the plasma cutter out there, Need a direct plug in to run it, to many amps. I dont think it would even run off the outpost outlet.

Sweet! Another German Shepheard!
Nali is just over a year so I know exactly what your going through. She loves giving kisses when she meets them but when shes them when she is in the car its a whole different story. (unless she has previously met them, then shes ok again... ) tempermental shepheards... Shes pretty neutral when it comes to being head b*tch or taking it like a champ. She usually plays with a 130lb grate dane so she knows whats up. Shes also only 70lbs (still really skinny too)

but aaaanyway....
Is there a number I can call to reserve the spot or does someone have to go reserve it? I'll try and get the one next to yours. As for phone numbers if everyone wants to pm me thiers I will make a grand list and email them to everyone. That way we aren't putting them all out on the net. I don't know how everyone feels about that. Personally I don't really want everyone knowing my phone #. My name is enough... You guys... who cares... but not the rest of the world...
