I live in charleston SC. I've never been on a true trail ride, and never been trail riding and camping all in one trip. I would like to do this however there is nothing in my area. so i thought i would see if anyone on here had any areas to suggest in the SC/NC border area. I would want to just do a two or three day trip, i could probably get a few people from here to join in and anyone is welcome to come. Not looking for any major trail riding. I'm driving a lifted 4runner with 36s and rear locker, but most people i know around here are stock with 31s or maybe small lift and 33s. i just want a nice off road ride where i do need to use 4x4 every now and then. so if you have any info please let me know.

Im workin on getting Toytec coils, BB skids, and uca's, then my Taco will be rear for a light trail ride.

 

yeah plannin on goin prob mid april to uwharrie, gulches, or rice's creek. im down to drive up to 4 hours away so if anyone has any other spots holler. i got 2 other yota guys, a jeep guy, and a zuzu guy going as well.

 

I'm in raleigh and lacking trail mates. Let me know next time you go out and will meet up with you.
