Is 4roc still up? I forgot about that site. I remember everyone from NC went threre at one time, but it never really cought on . After that, no one seems to post in either place.

yeah - lots of hype about 4ROC and then it fizzled. Austin seems to be the lynchpin for NC 4Runners

i wanna make sure EVERYTHING is in order before i commit.... i feel bad that we didnt make it last time.... jon actually ordered a DS yesterday and i am pretty sure i just sold my e-locker which means i will be ordering a front DS then i need to do somthing about my gas tank DS issue before i blow up.

so should i tow my 2nd gen and jons 3rd with my 1st??

Nice to see some people speak up in this area. Dave I know I talked about a trip to URE in April but I am not going to have the time. I have a surf contest on the 14-15 and a charity event the next weekend not to mention I am supposed to attend a birthday party sometime in there too.

 

checking in, my truck is coming along well. It has everything it needs to be driveable right now. My fabricator friend is finishing up the new motor mounts for it this week then it will get its first test drive (assuming nothing goes wrong ) after the test drive its off to get a REAL air intake and piping for the intercooler, and an exhaust, then installing the 5.29 and ARB rear end

 

Good luck with that Jeremy. You should have started a buildup thread of youre own and documented the whole thing.

I know what you mean. I am playing paintball again and the tournament season just started last month. Between tournaments, practice and reffing I have maybe one free weekend per month. But I'm gonna hit the trails in Uwharrie sometime in April anyway

He is still around but I think he has sold the 4runner. So, I dont think he will be going on any trips until he gets another one. Mike has talked to him and knows more.

 

Checking in also, forgot about this part of Yotatech. Will check in more often from now on.

 

What up guys? I am working at a marina rigging and test driving boats and have been pretty busy, I guess it's about time I got my 4Runner in working order. My rear drive shaft will be here next friday. I installed a new transmission pan and I Hurculined my fender flares and grill. I'll be ready for a trip soon

 

I forgot about this area of Yotatech too...but remember it when I tried unsuccessfully to log on to NC4ROC for the billionth time... I still have the '89 in the avatar, but it's been in the garage w/ unknown problem for 2 months now...won't start/run. But, I'm thinking about buying an '84 lifted, locked, and loaded and using my '89 for parts or sell for parts... If I get the '84, I'll also be needing a trailer to start towing it to these meets with...
