Here they are:

Heres what happens when someone opens a door and lets a draft in, blow the shielding gas away from the weld and it looks like this

Heres what the bends ended up looking like from the muffler shop

Good looking and cool you are doing them yourself. Did you get the 35's on yet?

There is no way he will fit 35s... maybe on the street for looks, but you will rub like a mofo.

Nice looking sliders though! Those bends suck, what happened there? Does nobody have a mandrel bender in boone or something?

Talking $150

That will barely cover steel considering steel prices these days are out of sight.

I spent 80 on steel like a month ago and the prices have higher since then. Plus these things have been alot of trouble making the double angle miter cut for the outer tube was a bitch and then the support tubes were a pain as well. Plus i wont have access to a mig, plasma cutter, and chop saw after next tues. The bends were done at a muffler shop. I didnt want to have to pay to get them bent so i took what i could get. Plus i dont think it will affect their performance one bit.

Ha, and you thought your mileage is bad now! Expect a 3-5mpg drop with all that stuff going on... oh yeah... oh yeah....

How are you going to finish the sliders? PowderCoat?

I'd like to powder coat them but i would think it would be expensive. I might just stick with primer and paint.

I know a buddy here in Greensboro who's borhter does powder coating. It's Darren, he's got a 98 LTD Runner, he joined 4ROC but he's not on here all that much. Awhile back he told me he could get me a great deal on anything I wanted powder coated. I just went the primer and paint method myself, I may talk to Darren latter about doing powder coating but it's just not in the budget right now. Just make sure to do flat black, it looks better and dries faster, no need to get bling done on something you plan on running over rocks anyways.
