Matt, where are you getting a $350 driveshaft from??? That is pretty expensive in my book of findings. To my calculations it shouldn't cost me more than 200-250 or am I just dreaming?? I really need to get this driveshaft thing figured out before I get to lifting.

I might, depends on what you are looking for. I'll have an 86 Runner parts truck on the 28th(the guy is towing it down for me then. I've already got my eyes on the front driveshaft, so I can have a CV connection front and rear. Let me know if there is anything else you want.

isn't that an oxymoron?... cheap yet excellent quality...

Have you tried Mike at xtremeoff-road.com ? I think hes got the group prices still. Tell him I sent you, hes a good guy to deal with and thats where I got my lift and TJM from. I'm still tempted to grab the girlfriend and head up for the weekend. Might only spend one night up in Boone, but is the invatation still open?

I would love to come but won't be making it. I still have the click click sound in the NEW differential, actually it's click, CLUNK, CLUNK, Pop with some tire squeel and it pulls to the right violently. I came to the conclusion that it is coming from my diff and not the actulator, sleeve or the input shaft. I called Randy's and they think they built my diff with the wrong gear set. They want me to take my diff apart and count the teeth befor they will do anything. I guess I don't have anything better to do this weekend than lay on cold concrete in the garage. another month with no runner will be fun. I am trying to make a 2wd mod so I will be able to drive my rig w/o ruining my wheel bearings

They want to spend the day on the slopes, but my gf left all of her boarding stuff at home in Ohio. We will bring some beer to pay for our stay. What is the brew of choice? We will be comming up sat earilyish. We are going to aville tomorrow and staying with my fam so we can get an earily start on sat. If i don't get a response here I'll call you tonight.

Sorry I didn't make it to boone chris.
I ended up just going to Asheville. I took my gf and a buddy of mine and his gf op to the mtns and they really wanted to board/ski. I heard it was going to rain in boone so we didn't make the trip over the mtn. How did it end up? I really wanted to go and now I wish I had more, but I was driving almost all weekend as it was b/c we had to get back somewhat earily sunday to get some homework done for today. My internet is still down (darn comcast is pissing me off). I really wanted to see how your rig is comming allong. Hope all is well!
