Looking for an honest mechanic in alexandria, va

I'm looking for an honest mechanic that can work on my newly purchased 99 runner. I feel like I'm always getting screwed at the shop - especially the dealerships! I live in Alexandria, Virginia, so I'm trying to find someone close by that knows these trucks - how to repair them and how to add mods and that would like to make an extra couple of bucks every once and a while. Thanks!

The registration page has had some problems. Send a private message to dajabr (aka "Dan") to see if your registration went through. I think Dan is traveling this weekend, so he'll get back to you early next week.

Was in WV this weekend, glorious peak fall foliage just now, have GOT to find someplace to put my hard top.
The form is hopelessly mired with frontpage code from the last incarnation of the website, had to stop after getting the rest of the site up and have been too busy since to rebuild the form. Best thing to do if you want to register is cut and paste the form into an email, fill it in and send a picture.
When I was in Arlington I went to Tysons for work, am currently waiting for a good time to test a new potential lead, a guy who works as a mechanic at a Toyota dealership, and has an identical toyota specific business on the side. Unfortunately I can't give out his contact info until I talk to him first, he has to be anonymous or we won't get wholesale parts... Otherwise I'm afraid I'm drawing a blank on Alexandria, the guy that I bought my 86 from in Arlington had rebuilt the head and it worked great, but he's retired.

Will keep an eye out, if you find anything post it here and I will drop it on the website.
