What about the junk yard in Fredericksburg area? I just got my repair manuals for the 4Runner and would like to gather some axle, CV parts and anything else that looks interesting. The only thing I need to figure out is which year 4Runners, and possibly Tacomas, I can take parts from that will work in my 2001 4Runner.

 

I'm up for a fredericksburg trip. Aaahhh, the tetanus fields...

Well we're still waiting on our baby, a stubborn little bugger, she doesn't want to come out. Anyway I will be getting 2 weeks of leave from my office and my wife won't need me around all day. Who wants to make a run down to the Fredrisksburg junk yard?

I'm looking for 1996-2001 4Runner parts (axle shafts, cv, maybe even a drive shaft). I think I can also salvage from 1996+ Tacomas too for my '01 4Runner.

I got off the phone with these guys and they don't have any 1996+ 4Runners or Tacomas on their salvage lot. :cry:

I'll have to call Crazy Rays and ask what they have.

 

They had only older trucks a month ago, no second or third gens...
