Weather
It looks like there may be some bad weather through the rest of the week, obviously I'm not going out there in the rain. But if it shapes up I should be leaving McLean around 9ish...

It should be about 45 minutes if we leave after rush hour. Maybe an hour +- there and 45 min back. Keep in mind if we find something we wanna pull, it will be longer. What kindof window do you have?

40% Chance of Showers friday, mainly in the afternoon, so I'm heading up for an hour or so morning stroll through the tetanus fields. Will take some pics and report eventually...

For running around in those Tetanus fields, I found a link on a local Virginia club website, the Off-Camber Crawlers for Fairfax County location to receive Tetanus shots for about $5.00.

So I ended up running a bunch of errands before leaving, stopped to install Anti Virus on my dad's laptop and found he was infected with the Blaster worm. So fixed that and ended up getting flooded with email, Heather might need an early pickup, blah blah blah, not going today.

OK, am going to try again this friday, Sept. 19th. Will be in McLean at 8:30 picking up bolts to finally get my speaker boxes in, and grab some rust/paint control stuff, then would like to hit the road by 9 or so, and head back long before rush hour...

Hey guys, we have a great opportunity here. If we go out to Crazy Ray's on friday, we not only get the junkyard experience, but we high winds, tons of rain, and lots or sharp, heavy, rusty metal spinning around us at up to 125 MPH. The tetanus fields come alive and welcome us in their embrace.
Dude.... sweet.
Anyway, am in CA next weekend and have the following weekend booked, will reschedule this for sometime when it won't be like walking into a cuisinart. :pat:

Got a wild hair up my ass this morning and went up to CR's. One 1st gen SR5, few good bits, swithces. Not a single other 4runner in the place, not even an 89+ truck. The trick looks like going frequently and catching one on the way in.
This time they had 2 limos, another ambulance, 2 valuable looking Triumphs, and what apperead to be a Cooper Mini station wagon. Spent some time poking around, lots of older toyotas to pick on, vans, cars, trucks. Found many Supras with 7mge's one had a 7mgte, might take two engines to make one but a damn good start for that swap. Not for me at the moment though.
