Ducky,

If you're volunteering, go for it. This has been our biggest problem from the start- there aren't many of us with web skills (you and Mark are our main gurus). You've got no arguments from me.

Viet0ne was one of them, and i don't remember the other one. do you remember david? if you don't have time or something ducky then we can send out another email requesting help, but if you wanna do it, go right on ahead and go for it.

Ducky,

Where and what is that server?

What happened to DenverBikeGuy and the domain reg issues?

Is there MySQL, PHP, and some sort of forum software installed?

Any email relay?

I'm lost as to what happened and where this started.

Hey guys, I may be able to help you if you still are looking for help with the WA website. I am the owner of the domain and run the Team Disturbance website (my paintball team). Let me know if you guys need any help. Peace.

Currently Im doing ok with the wa4roc site... but might need help later.

programming a DB for the members is happening right now for the wa.4roc site... I want it pretty functional...

so patience... I should just add some content so ppl can "see" that I am working on it =)

Thanks... Currently the only help i may need is the main 4roc site... but im undecided whether I should just have a directory of all the different chapters come up, since they prolley want to have message boards for their own chapter, or if I wanna put full content on there... I really dont want to spread out that much, Yotatech is a fine message board, to open another board and spread the info out even further...

not sure yet... back to work I go.

I agree, but one of the things that was originally talked about was to have a local private message forum just for WA members. That would keep the chapter chatter down to a minimum on Yotatech.

Also, having a local email relay off of the domain would allow for broadcasts of member-only events and again, private chatter.

Though, the other side of this is that chattering about that stuff on a larger board "in public" could bring in new members.

i still think its a good idea to have a message board on the WA site. i really don't think it will take away from yotatech that much, and im sure that every chapter is going to have at least one link to yotatech on they're site.

nice work on the paintballing site orange!
