Hi all;

I've been away from paying close attention for the last few days.. I'm getting ready for my two youngest little people to show up for a few days and needed to make room around the apt for them.

Anyway, With that "kinda' sorta'" under control now... is there a ride scheduled for this week? I'm in if so!

I'm itching to get out... HELP ME!

If you keep talking to your elders THAT way, I suspect you are wrong on that account

Remember, it is the old folks who will know how to save your butt when you are dangling off a cliff and it would s*ck to have them remind you of your impudence and just walk away at that moment

Muhahhahhahahhahahhahhahahhahha...

Okay, sorry, here is a random rant. I saw on your avatar Rob that you have an ARB bumper...I was seriously looking into one, and I know they make ones w/o winch capabilities, but not for 84-85 4runners (because of the straight axle, I guess it mounts differently). But they do offer Winch Bumpers for them! I was angry!

I have never seen an ARB without winch capabilities. I suppose it's possible, but I have never seen one and that ability is one of their big selling points.

Well don't get me wrong, I love my Yota...but it is the same as everyone elses, I want to give it a rugged, unique look. I looked at bumpers...all too expensive, looked at brushguards (acually might of found one for $40!!!!) But first I have to wait until I get the front end parts
Check out what I did...

That's a good spot for the CB for "stealth". I have mine in a locking center console.

Watch yourself with brush guards. They reduce your approach angle, don't offer much if anything in the way of protection and they often damage your rig when they get bent.

Yeah, but for $40!!! It'll do until I win the lottery and buy an ARB Bumper

I'm going to have to pass on a mid-week run this week. Next week for sure though! Rob, how was the rest of your 101 class?
