Also, we don't know your name or who you are so why do you have to "clear your name?"

Orange, I don't care who you are regardless of what vehicle you have. We don't care that you drive a fj45 as this has nothing to do with you. Btw, if you're a pirate4x4 member, why even care what we say on yotatech anyway? To Pirate members, we're a noob anyway... geez (o another note... only AK would write "nuff said". dumba$$)

The reality of the matter is that NE's business practices were outright WRONG. They have deceived customers and also were selling product that could potentially harm the customers and their surrounding. That said, if you sell crap and deceive anyone, you're gonna get pissed off people.

Yes he might have had a great idea on the potential but the process was piss poor. He had to do more research than just make something and think that it would work. Building your own business to sell products takes alot of time and energy and it is visible that that was not done thus the demise of NE. At one point in the beginning, NE was able to turn around but the continual lying proved to cause them to fail.

Mickdaddy- thank you for a constructive reply, as for the 20 page post, yes, I read it. As for NE, and AK, destructive business practices, yes I cannot deny the sheer volume of negative response. In regard to their manfaturing practices and actual business experience I cannot claim any firsthand knowledge as I am not a part of NE. I simply know AK, liked his rig and offered him a place to wrench and some help if he needed it.
As for confronting him directly, with the sheer amount of info you guys have, when confronted he owned up personally- and apologized. As for NE truly being dissolved, well time will tell, I am not making any promise on his behalf, I again only wanted to clear up my own name and clarify any association with NE or AK.

Wow, you guys are really charged, the reason that I had to clear my name is that he used MY pc, and as I earlier read, you have the ability to track down IP's and locate users, so if you do that you will find that JBlairs posts came from THIS computer. Thus, again the need to clear my name. Also in point of fact, AK is not the only one to use "nuff said".

This thread will live on in infamy. Incredible...

AK makes me think of a line from a talking heads song - "I've changed my hairstyle so many times now, I don't know what I look like."

So answer this....who used your computer to post?

If you are who you say you are, take a picture of you standing in your driveway with the FJ45 holding up your drivers license and birth certificate (close up please) and a small sign that says I love YotaTech and I promise no one will doubt you!!!

BTW if you hold down the windows key and the letter 'L' it will lock your computer so anth....I mean people don't use it without permission.

Good times- was that really necesary? I am really proud of my rig, it took me a few years to find, anybody else here have a fj-45 4 door wagon with a small block, non US-spec 4spd, spring over, fine spline axles that have been cut and turned and rear disc brake conversion. I don't want to start any fights, and actually respect quite a bit the posts from proud users on the mods that they have done to their rigs, I actually look into reviews of product vendors and yes I do know AK, and I am not going to defend him, but I am not going to leave him in the dust either.

Mickdaddy, no I am not going to name names but if you want the picture requested with whiteout on all the pertinent parts, except the birth certificate I'll do it, it's a small price, no "I love Yotatech" sign at this time though. I am not really feeling the love.

I did not lock the computer because I gave him permission to use it, we are students together, not a big issue to check email, or a webpage until now.

Man, your frustration is completely valid but you are pointing blame in the wrong direction. You will never be able to make a point or have a civilized conversation on this thread (possibly this board). EVER.

There is only one person to blame.

The pic would prove who you are but being associated to AK will prevent anyone from believing anything you write. He really has ruined a lot of people's reputations.

Necessary? You tell me as I don't think you owning a 45 has any bearing to the NE thread. Heck, just because someone owns/drives some super moster truck rig doesn't make them any more special than some rookie here. That said, we all pride in our rigs regardless of what the modification we have. No ego's here man. You can leave the ego elsewhere.

As for you defending your name, since your IP hasn't been banned I don't think there's really an issue on whether or not you have to clear your name. Not like any of us would have known whether or not Anthony used your computer or not.

Still have no clue why you even posted here to begin with.

Thank you mickdaddy for actually reading, I agree with what you are saying, I don't think I would have ever really had much to post in the first place, I just like to read what people have done and ask questions. I am charged up as I have only had my rig for a few monthes and had not had a toyota since my first rig (74 fj40-4"rancho 33"bfg's, that's about it). So cheers again, and yes I have had my eyes opened a bit, but that does not mean I am going to just drop him, with exception of the pc usage, he has not let me down. I have not given him anything to do, but as aforementioned, it was a good idea and I think it could have been refined into an excellent product.

Lynch Mob

Geez what started off as a simple thread about some of NE's Problems has turned into a FREAKIN LYNCH MOB.

This thread is starting to remind me of PIRATE.

Good times-
No ego, just feeling a little attacked, understand where you are coming from and agree with you on some points, however, since my pc was only used yesterday, it was simply a preventative measure. Looking at the amount of researching you guys did on locating the IP's is unnerving considering the post generated by Jblair came from my pc. You guys were already sniffing the trail out, it seemed a matter of time.
I actually would not have known about any of this if the Yotatech page was not left open on my pc. I had known a little about this ongoing furor but as it was really none of my business, and I had nothing to contribute, I did not see a need to investigate anything. And as Mickdaddy suggested I already confronted, he owned up and apologized, and considering that he had no other opportunities to respond, I even understand why he did it. I don't agree with his actions and let him have it both barrels for it. I just think that this is an awful lot of negativity that I don't want to be associated directly with. Ask me a question about me and I will answer truthfully, just don't ask me anything about AK or NE, as I have already said as much as I know.

If only the "victim" of this "lynching" were so innocent.

Like Mr. Hanging out the door while smacking kid on bike, he deserved everything he got.

Orange45: I'm sure youre a good guy and probably have the best of intentions, but guilt by association is gonna haunt you on this forum. In fact, I'm downright suspicious right now as Billy/Anthony has used anonymizers and other friend's accounts to post here since his banning. Banned twice, I might add for being a FAKE, both personally and professionally.

And if you read in those 20 pages, his friend and business partner, Ryan Cloud, posted under two different names here and most notably, bullsh#tted the membership here by pretending to visit Hanna's shop and wrote a scathing post about his business. Did you read the posts I'm talking about?

And now you are telling us your friend Anthony used your computer to create a fake account...so what are we supposed to think?

Bob

Got it, but not pointing any blame, yes I am a little frustrated, but I understand the reason for the frosty reception.

Hey Bob-
Well put, the way you will know that I am who I say I am is that you won't see me posting things in NE's defense. In regard to the pc usage that is up to you to decide, I told him he could use my pc while I was gone and went to a movie (Aviator) with my wife. As far as AK, personally I like him, don't like what you guys are accusing him of, but then again I obviously don't know their side of the whole thing and honestly am not interested. It's his business and its between you, for the last time, you seem a very savvy bunch and don't want to be blackballed for actions not my own.
