its just a shackle mount i could make one of these i dont see the hype

 

They are made of laser cut 1/2" steel, bent/ welded and powder coated. Maybe you can make these but, not everyone can.

all you need is a steel place to cut and bend the peices then anyone can weld them and then just paint them. how much do these cost, because with the price of steel and bending its only like $15 each

Who taught you how to run a winch line...that crossing of cable is downright scary!

The proper way would be to have double recovery points on each side of the frame connected by rope/wire in a triangle to a snatch block, and then the winch should be connected to that. That way you’re not pulling on only one side of the frame.

Armatures...sheesh.
