Can you also get a shot from the side? To show the LED running light? I'll add your pics to the site if that's ok with you.

They are bright lights, and it does make it look like a new model truck. The good thing about our 3rd gens is... The body doesn't age, and that's a good thing. LED tails still in stock. Order links above.

Hope you like 'em.

So where are you lot ordering these from? Ebay? Burtman? Someone please elaborate on the quality of the workmanship. I don't want some cheap looking on my 4Runner, I want it to look clean and not stand out.

Sorry.. was away for a bit.. but too all the skepticals out there.. I am loving the LED on my runner.. they are very clean looking.. the fit is exactly llke OEM.. .just picture the OEM tailight and instead of see a red bulb brake light..imagine led's lighting up. The signal and reverse are still light bulbed which basically mimic's the new yota's with the led brake lights.. RAv4 and Runner's.

I have to admit, I don't do much wheeling since I already fell for the rugged look of my runner. If anyone wants a cleaner and updated look for their runner, then I totally recommend getting them...

Do I get some kind of referral fee? hahaha

PFDaxe.. I responded on the other post you had.. but to summarize.. I didnt' have any problems w/ the abs lights staying on after the install.. I did have to remove the panels and plug and play the led's... be sure to ground it.. or else when signalling and and parking brake is on.. the parking brake will dim when signal light is on.. so the ground is important...

I install the passenger side first.. then test.. then proceed w/ the driver side.

I notice the driver side has 2 or 3 other ground wire as well.. but that's for my 02.

Hope this helps... hope you get rid of the abs light..

For a cleaner look. Today I installed "chrome" covered turn signal bulbs from autolumination.com They look transparent in clear lenses, but lights amber. This way the reflector looks chrome instead of having an amber tint to it. I'm also going to put them in my front turns also. Just a clean simple mod...

That's what I figured...

Basically you need to rip out the stock harness/ground, and install the new LED harness/ground. Not a big deal, just an additional 20 minutes of work.

I ordered my LED tails on Sunday night. Maybe I'll get them by Friday, but I'm not sure how fast Burtman ships.

Mine were drop shipped from LA not directly from Jason. I received in 3 days, but I'm closer to LA than you. Hopefully you get them for the weekend.

A little silver spray paint will do the same thing at a fraction of the price.

that's a big negative. don't paint the bulbs, as when that paint starts to burn off it'll probably give your clear lenses an actual "smoke" tint job on the inside...this is what happened to my friend on his nissan...

Haha that's ghetto!

Lol I just spent about $60 on reverse bulbs & rear turn signals. I went with: http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-106090.cfm

Yeah they are expensive but they are bright as hell with the magnified lens. I've got them in my corner lights up front so I had to go with them in the back as well. I've got the Polarg 7443 bulbs in the back, but with the LED tails they take 921 and 7440... so had to order new everything.. but it's worth it.

wrong.

I've been doing it for 10 years on my german cars and it works great. Dont knock it until you try it. It works and its cheap... But hey, if you want to spend the money for the chrome bulbs, have at it.

Doesn't look ghetto to me...

I wasn't saying that in a bad way. Sometimes doing it the ghetto way is easier and cheaper.

Ok... I have a '98, so in the opinion of everybody here, which should I buy first, the 99-02 headlights, or these fabulous LED tail lights?
