Looks good! Thanks for the pics.

Any chance you could get one at eye level about 25 ft away? Illuminated during the day would be nice to see.

MotaPsycho, nice pics. Do they 'blink' similar to that of a Cadillac car or suv w/ led tails?

Hey, if you want to post larger pictures within your thread, open up a free acct w/ photobucket.com. Once you have an acct, you can upload your pics to their site and then just copy the [IMG] code link from photobucket and post it into your YT thread.

Thumbs up

Hi,
Glad the pics can help out

Rock - The best examples i can say is if you look at the 2006 4runner w/ the led.. its basically the same. I haven't taken a closer look at the Cady's.. but i've seen from a distance.. to me, Cad look like a paint paint of red spot blinking... The ones I just put on, you can see individual led's lighting up... i think if you look at the new acura mdx.. its sort of the same style... lets just say i like these tails way better than the Cady's tail.

Feezy - I got them off Ebay @ SaberSport.. i couldn't wait.. I got it in 5 days.. fast and easy.

I forgot to take more photo's today in the daylight.. i left my camera at the house. I'll try to take some in daytime w/ applied brakes.

Thanks that helps.

However, actually what I'd like to know is how they look when they blink. I know what you mean about the paint of red blinking and not seeing the individual bulbs very well as they have a very distinct manner of blinking. Not like an ordinary filament bulb...if you know what I mean.

I was wondering if they have that very pronouced blinking manner similar to that of a Caddy. It's much more forceful than a standard bulb. The light does not fade in or out between blinks.

Guess I need to look at the '06 4Runners & MDXs closer to get a better idea of how these new 3rd gen leds compare.

The reason they don't fade out is that they are LED bulbs in the blinkers. Mine blink the same way since i got LED's put in mine. ANY halagen bulb will fade when blinking.

That's how I understand it too. Maybe it's just me, but it seems the Caddy tails have a more pronounced blinking pattern that other oem led tails I've seen on similar priced luxury vehicles.

I need to pay a visit to my local toy dealer and check out those '06 4Runner tails to get a better idea how these new led 3rd tails compare.

these aren't going to blink since the turn signal isn't led like the caddy's

ah, good point. Forgot about that part

Okay then, as far as applying the brakes and then letting off of them, I assume the brake lights themselves will be very pronounced...similar to that of a Caddy too correct?

(sorry for all the Caddy references, it's just the only vehicle I can think of for a good reference point . )
