I'll have some pics to post in a few days if I ever get my LED tails.. haha. I do however like those smoked ones but it's to late. Hopefully that same company will make some LED tails for the 07 Tundra, and I can get my dad to order some..

Alright I finally got my LED tail lights on, and let me tell you, I am more than satisfied. You can definitely tell they are LED from quite a distance. And when you hit the brake light, they are blinding. I definitely encourage everyone to order them if you are wanting an upgrade in your tail lights, because these are definitely the best you can buy! 02 OEM tails do not even compare. I'll have some pics up by Saturday. I would have them up sooner but I'm going to Atlanta tomorrow to see the Colts play.

Fo Sheezy.. they look nice man... and get an OEM hitch on that thing! The OEM 'yota setup doesn't stick out nearly as much.

My thought exactly! They look great!

And an OEN hitch will look a lot better indeed, although i have to ask, why have one at all? I mean it is not like that truck will actually work for it's spot in the garage. Or does it? LOL

Plastic, I don't believe there are any tail lights that are made out of glass.

Pretty sure that is an OE hitch. Or atleast looks like one. I have one onmy truck and it looks quite similiar. They do make one that doesn't hang as low though...Haven't seen them around here though. LED's look sweet though.

There might be different OE models then, because mine is tucked up pretty tight with the bumper and is swept back at 45 degrees. I'll post a pic soon.

I've got the same hitch on mine. I think it's dealer installed. It does stick out a bit too far.

Fo_SheeZy, the led tails look nice.

And yes, that IS an OEM hitch on your truck. I originally had the same one on my '02 Sport:

Before:

I hated how low it sat, so I yanked it out and sold it. I then took the oem low profile hitch off my wife's '00 4Runner and mounted it on mine :

After:

So in short, Toyota did offer two different style hitches. Personally, I like the low pro version.

Ok, at least we now have an explanation! I knew that mine sat a lot further in than his. I also have an 00 limited, i wounder if it was the year or the limited?

It's oem, so if you want it new, try the dealer. Otherwise, if you want to save yourself some money, try looking through the classifieds or post up a want ad for it on the many different toyota forums on the internet.

I was fortunate my wife's 2wd 4Runner had this low profile hitch. I just robbed it off her's . I was able to sell the one you have mounted in less than a week on this site.

You could also try the salvage yards. This is a fairly common hitch design for toyotas. You may even be able to find a comparable aftermarket version too.
