It would help if you mentioned what year truck you have.

mark, welcome aboard...

to answer your q, YES but try searchin as I know it's out there

Also, if you downgrade to 16" wheels, your tires will be much cheaper too!

You can run whatever tire size you want, as long as you are willing to do some trimming/cutting.

well for cost sake -- i'd like to stick with my 17's so i don't have to buy new wheels -- and i'd prefer to not do too much trimming

i've searched and searched -- and there is way to much information for a newb like me to figure out what the best tire size is

i did figure out the revo is the way to go

you can probably fit 275s, but i didn't try them with the stock wheels ... i had aftermarket ones with 4.5" backspacing and still had to do some trimming even with 4" of lift. no biggie though.

I installed the following lift and tires on my 2004 Sport V8 about 3 months ago. The combo is working great for me. I stuck to my stock 17" wheels. Once I get the sliders on and ARB releases their front bumper, I'll be a happy camper! :-)

Front:
Old Man Emu (OME) Springs: Part # 885
Old Man Emu (OME) Shocks Part # N140S

Rear:
Old Man Emu (OME) Springs: Part # 895
Old Man Emu (OME) Shocks Part # N142S

265/70/17 - BF Goodrich AT/KO (Load range c)

I just installed OEM factory shocks and coils and my driver's side is just under 36" and the right is about a half inch taller but my rears both sit at 36.5" but I think a half inch lean either way seems to be common even with factory parts.

yep, the reason you're 1/2 lower on the driver's side is why they make trim packers to even it out.

so what is the general thought -- even it out -- or leave it alone?

there's no harm in leaving it alone. most people leave it alone because everyone running Revtek or Cornfed or Daystar lifts have the same problem and would have had to buy custom made trim packers to work with those kits ... most haven't.

mine is about as much off as yours, and i've just left it alone.

i'm leaning towards the revo 265/70/17's -- but thinking about the good year 275/70/17's will have to decide pretty soon!

i've been running the 275s for about a year or so ... they've been nothing but great. the only thing to keep in mind is you may have to do some trimming/cutting to prevent rubbing at full turn and offroading. then again, bulldog-yota mentioned that someone is running them on stock wheels and didn't have to do any cutting. i'm running aftermarket 4.5" backspaced wheels and had to do just a little trimming to prevent rubbing at full lock in the front.

the pics of where my truck is cut are going to be useless for you because mine has been butchered to fit 315s.
