warn winch solenoid question

I have finished the rebulid on the winch but I am stuck on the remote box.

The box has 3 solenoids, and the new ones have 4 so I am stumped on where to connect to the battery.

Does anyone have any experiance of the older box and can give me info or a picture? The winch is an m5000

Warns site only shows the 4 solenoid box (I checked already).

Hey Mack,

Do you know what the connections are from the solenoids to the motor?

If all else fails, maybe you can post a diagram of how the solenoids are wired and how they are connected to the motor. Its been awhile since I studied motors, but I doubt you have anything too exotic in the way of a motor. The solenoids themselves are pretty simple too. One then has to figure out what solenoids should be on or off to make the motor go fwd and reverse.

If you still have any troubles e-mail me. I can send you photos or a digital video. My friend has an old Warn winch that sounds the same. It took a little while but we got it hooked up. Our ground connection was a little unsecure adding time to our detective work.
