lift technology has not changed recently so you can very well learn from previous models. that said, you really can't mess anything up since there are many of us that has done the initial leg work on getting various lift kits out on the road.

just pick one you like and go with it. you can't go wrong. if you haven't read about anyone breaking something then you probably won't experience it. if people aren't using specific parts (such as diff drops) then don't worry about it cuz you prob won't need it. I personally don't have the diff drop and don't plan on using one so that's some incentive. also i don't run a swaybar either so....
