I've used 3" x 30' straps for years. The longer length comes in handy, and allows it to stretch like the shorter 2" x 20'.

Actually, it is quite deceiving....

Yeah, it is a 20,000 lb truck, up to the fender in WATER only....The pits are about chest deep for the average 5' 10" male. They have a pretty decent bottom in them also. So it's not like its 2 feet of water and a foot of mud.

But it still sicks to have to go in there.

The pulleys actually take 2-3 guys just to move them. The one you see in that picture weighs about 60 lbs. It's rated for 25 ton.
