well, you're halfway there. You can do the rear lift the cheap way and end up replacing it after you know you don't like it and get squat for your old parts, or you could do it the right way and be happy for years to come.

I feel your pain with the money issue, bro. I almost upgraded too much at once but at least I broke my fever before I broke the bank.

well I have enough in the bank right now but I owe a few payments for insurance on my truck so that drains a lot of what I have. and being a high school "kid" as most people here would think of me, I dont have a full time job. but each summer I usually take in enough to pay for the parts. so thanks for your help

Deaver has a 3 leaf add in for the stock rear springs. It's not one leaf like an AAL, but three thin ones to make 6 total.

$175.00 for two.

It's not an add a leaf, it's 3 more leafs to "add in", I know that sounds the same but it's not.

3 real skinny leafs added to the 3 you already have. So you get a six leaf rear spring.

With an add a leaf you get a 4 leaf rear spring, there is nothing wrong with the top 3 leafs, you just need to add more.

This is exactly what I will be running on my Buggy, 04 Tacoma stock leafs with the Deaver 3 leaf add in. Should be fine.

When I get time, I'll post a pic. You'll see, they are not open until Monday anyway.

2" from the leafs and 1" from a shackle is how I have done it. Even the full leaf packs only yield 2" from Deaver.

I can get the Daystar shackle kit for $80.00 you get quite a bit for that.
