it looks to be based off of the d44 IRS from corvettes, but yes, for that price it is worthless.

that cover almost looks too big to be a d44...maybe a 60?

that looks more like a car suspension...which is pointless in a truck like that, too high off the ground.

i've always been tempted to build a 2wd street machine with IRS though...except it'd kill any load carrying capabilities...

I just got my 4WDTO magazine, and upon looking at it again, the only advantage I can possibly see is strength due to the 44 components. But would that be negated by the CV joints?

What do you guys think? Flex, ride, and suspension aside, what woudl be stronger the stock axle or the 44 IRS?

Stock axle I would think. You can bash the IRS against something and tear it apart. Seems like people are much more careful with the front of their vehicles on terrain than the back.

yeah.... i agree that it is worthless, why would anyone do that to a taco? i could see someone doin it to an escalade ext or something like that, but hey... to each there own...

all pro kit is sick, wonder if it would work on 4runners
