I still think you should consider what Roger and some of the other guys have said in that other thread -- if the mechanic told you the lifts he installed caused your skid plate to no longer fit, I would investigate that a bit further because that is not true and so if it is a matter of his having screwed up the skid plate somehow, then he needs to be the one to find you a new one and pay for it ...

 

btw, another HUGE thumbs up for Budbuilt. My skidplate showed up today - this is one MAJOR piece of steel.
