the nato cans are awesome, but DONT get the spouts that CTD provides, they suck, leak, break, etc...if you can, get the original swiss army nozzles that mate to the cans. you might be able to find them at cold war remarketing in colorado springs, theyre about 20 bucks but well worth it. i have a nozzle i got from a buddy who purchased about 8 with his pinzies, used some jbweld and mounted an unleaded tip from the erroneously-purchased CTD nozzles to the swiss army tip. the nozzles are flexible metal, much easier to work with than the wedcos (another guy on the trip had wedcos and their nozzles, theyre like trying to ˟˟˟˟ with a rope, he ended up using mine a few times because mine's longer and stiffer...uhhhh...yeah), and vented so can empty a 5gal can in under a minute. upend quick with finger over vent hole, wait for initial fill & vacuum, release finger, and GLOOPGLOOPGLOOP youre done with little to no mess, and the nozzle is long enough you can twist the can around to completely empty without worrying about bouncing it off the paint. i want to say it's a little over a foot long.

keep an eye on CTD, they used to sell the cans for 6 bucks, i bought mine when they were 10 each, but like i mentioned avoid their nozzles, get the swiss army if you can and the wedco if you cant (and some viagra for those wedcos ).

*edit* i also have two blitz cans, ive never had a problem with them but never put them through the same hell i did the nato cans either, and they come with leaded spouts and will continue to sit in my garage til i fit an unleaded tip to them. the nato cans were full and banged around in the back of my truck through elephant hill and the maze, all six of em, somewhat tied to the bridging ladders which all came loose and threw everything everywhere and had to be retied at least twice on elephant hill til we came up with a solid tiedown system. they dont leak. the guy with the wedcos didnt have any problems either except general frustration with their plastic flexi-straw spout.
