Ok one more question, LED lights, supposidly they are easier on the spotters night vision? Ok, so thats a good fact, but how bright are they? I dont really like the spotlight look for the walmart light, I dont want the ricer lights (casue they seem like they will break)...so would LED lights work for that or are they really not bright enough to be a good Rock light?

LED's are going to be a good bit brighter. It really depends on how you lay out the led's as to if you will get the "spotlight" look or not. If you find a good led rod that would probably be the best way to go. I've been searching on this mod as well and am thinking of going led as well. I have some ideas I just have to make sure that they will work first.

I could use a Lysmachia Fan Club right about now. I won't go in the details but one of my closest friends is in big trouble with the law and very suicidal. I haven't even noticed the holidays.... So yeah send me PM's and check in. I'd love to hear from you. -Molly

Talking

Hey guys. This is a very old thread, but rather than start a new one I figured I would dig this one back up. So post up pics of your rock lights. I want to see what folks have done in the last 3 years.

These are mine from the past 3 years:

The rocklight mod was the best mod I ever did/. But if they ARE NOT LED's, make sure you get your alternator upgraded! (Mine now puts out 60 AMPS at idle)

Tippy is on the left

Makes wrenching at night on the trail a lot easier!
