rear seat replacement in 85 4runner

i have recently purchased a 85 4runner without rear seats and i could do with the extra seating capacity.
Does anyone know what other model toyotas that have the same rear seats?

I believe any 4runner up to 89 has the same seats in the rear... you could always fab something in there though.

I heard you could take a rear bench seat out of a S10 Blazer if need be. But then you have to fab up the latching and folding mechanisms.

I had planned on putting buckets in the rear. Took measurements, found a set of ford aerostar front buckets that match the dimensions. Planned to make a simple mount. But got deployed and wife got prego so bucket rears was no longer an option.

You can try doing the 2nd gen 4runner rear seat swap in to your 1st gen 4runner. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...t-swap-118423/

I put 2002 seats in mine. it was a lot of fab work but they look great. Second gen seats will work but there will be some minor fab work for the latch and striker to be in the correct position. here are some threads that cover it
