Clear as mud! So on a 2000 IFS 4Runner, no front locker, is it best to disco?

One way to find out is to unbolt one of your end links and give it a try on some of your typical trails. See if it makes a difference.

I've snapped BOTH of my home-made disco's. (the all-thread held up for about a year under some strenous use)

I'm willing to be the guinea pig on another option as Steve mentioned in post #28.
I'll see about pulling my bar tonight and have a look at some options. Any recomendations or suggestions are appreciated!
Your "home-made" discos" were probably made with a carriage bolt (like the one's Lars made) that has no rating at all. It is a bolt and that is being generous...that is why they snapped. Anyway...I still have a few sets for sale on my website under "suspension" and you can see all the details there. If you have any questions, shoot me a PM.

Like 4crawler says above...read, research, decide what you think and then try it and see.

I have a set of JKS discos like TStango has sitting in my garage and wasn't sure if it was worth the time/energy to mount them. Just one more thing to do when wheeling. Doesn't sound like it matters.
