I have a 96 4Runner with OME 880 & 890 Spring(front & rear) and Shocks, plus Cornfed 1" spacer up front. I am looking for a disconnect like the one at larsdennert 4runner site. I don't have the tools to make his disconnects, but like the design and silence of them. Anyone know of a good source or quiet disconnects?

Yes, pics would be awesome so some of us can duplicate them.

the only thing bad with lars' discos are that you have to drill the hole to make it larger for the bolt to fit through. Doing this, i don't think you can use the stock stab bar links anymore if you ever want to go back to stock.

Don't get me wrong, I love how easy it was to disconnect the stab bar when wheeling. I only say "was" because the wing nut and threads are so rusted now that I can't even get the thing off. Just something to think about.

Eric if you ever decide to sell yours, lemme know. I could use a new pair soon.

Yeah, you can, you are only talking 0.7mm differnce between 12mm and 1/2"...no big deal.
