well fartruk is gooing to be stepping up to some new rubber pretty soon and i need to figure out what kind of backspaced rims i need ...... the last time i bought rims i just went to 4wp and said gimme some rims but i think this time i will need a better offset anyone with some experience in this please chime in thanks......

 

To many variables to just say what rims you need. What width are the tires? What width rim do you want to run? Are you running any kind of wheel spacers?

I run 38.5x11's on factory IFS 15x7's with 1.5" wheel spacers. IIRC that puts me at 3" of BS, and i had to trim less sheetmetal with 3" of lift than most people have to trim with 5" of lift and 35's. If i ran a wider tire on this combo, i would be into the springs hard. If i ran a wider wheel, or a little bit less backspacing i would be into the firewall.

 

i will run wheels spacers if i have too but i would rather not.... i will be running a 12.50 tire and a 8 inch rim

 

15x8 3.75" BS should do ya fine as I ran 35/12.50/15s, 37/12.50/15s and now 39.5/13.50/15s on that rim. All fit fine on the rear and I run a 2" spacer on the front.

Nothing wrong with running wheel spacers. I have for almost 4 years and not as much as a loose nut. You just use some Red Loc-Tite.
