plz help...need offset/backspacing info
So I have a 85 4runner with solid axle front end of course....I put on a set of 38x12.5x15 super Swampers and theyre rubbing on the leaf springs now....Sooo I went to summit racing to look for new wheels but now I need to know what I need for offset and backspacing to keep them from rubbing my leafs and ruining my new Swampers......anyone have any ideas on this?

Did you look up how to check back spacing? And yea you should look into wheel spacers. I had a similar problem with mine. I put 36x15.5's and even with 4.5" of backspacing they rubbed my sway bar on full turn. Ended up getting 2" wheel spacers and it solved the problem as well as making it more stable on and Offroad.

Stock backspacing on a 85 (solid axle) is around 3 1/2. Backspacing on IFS is 4 3/4. The smaller the number the more the rim is outside the hub. The higher the number the more the rim is over the hub. You will want a rim with backspacing around 3 3/8 to 3 1/2.
Don't get a rim with any offset. Keep the offset at 0.
