OME 906's

Hi all - first official post (aside from the intro section) so here we go. I ordered some OME 906's from wheelers and they didnt give me any lift at all. I measured the height before installation - 36.5" from ground to fenderwell, and after the new coils and shocks - 36.75". Those measurements are with new bfg at's 265-75-16's on.

hmm, well im going to try the 891's and see how those do. Hopefully they'll bounce me up about 2" over stock, a little more is okay - im sure they'll settle after some beating. Aso have the ome hd shocks in the rear. I also tow occasionally and this 4Runner is going to be permanantly in Cabo San Lucas - so stiffer is ok w/me.

Seems several here have installed the 891's and like them and got about 2-3" over stock. Ive also got some new SAW's up front, had em on both my tacomas and loved em.

my 4runner has 155k miles on it - and it definately needed new springs. I just ordered a new set of ome 891's from wheelers and returned the 906's they sent me. It seems as tho the 891's are just what im looking for, but we'll see once i get em on.

I have 890s on mine and I got 2.5" - 2.75" and they ride great. The 891s should net 3" - 3.25" and will carry alot more weight. Check out this. https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/old-man-emu-lift-2000-4runner-some-questions-105801/ Scroll down to see my simulated trailer tongue weight.

hey, i really like your front prerunner light bar - did you make that or did you buy it from somewhere? Also, the lift you have is exactly what im looking for. I ordered the 891's, and by judging your amount of lift in the back, its exatly what i want - hopefully the 891's arent more than the 890's for height. Anyway, ill be towing occasionally and loading gear for baja camping so they should settle out a bit. Ill post some pics as soon as i get em installed.
