I only have the rear locked, but the bunnies have a hard time keeping up.

Hardest thing I've gotten mine up was Missouri Gulch, up by Breckenridge. Took a VERY good spotter (in fact he now drives on a FJ Cruiser Trail Team) to get it there, but I was following a pair of nice Cruisers with two lockers (I have 2 lockers, too) and automatics. Just having one stock geared transfer case, a 5 speed and 33x9.50 ATs, I wasn't so much crawling as just hanging on, though. I'm not one of those people who say IFS will hang with SAS, of course not. But IFS isn't really not holding me back, the problem is with the lugnut behind the steering wheel. Actually what holds me back I think is not having a Marlin or sliders, I'm always riding the clutch and that I think makes it harder to crawl than anything.

Troy, that was mostly rhetorical. This reads too much like a fact.

I don't think it's the IFS that keeps me from hanging as much as my tolerance for significant body damage.

I think I have wheeled some trails that others will build SAS'd rigs to run.

In addition, mass generalizations like these make me laugh. Saying IFS is better in the High-Speed stuff must mean I can hang with the Baja 500 guys. Saying that SAS is better in the rocks must mean that anyone who SAS's their mall crawler can hang with the Comp buggies...

Good Times

But without mass generalizations... how can we build stereotypes on which to base preconceived biases upon??

With my IFS, i can go out and take ˟˟˟˟˟ shots all weekend long. I've got a thread to prove it too.

I can replace my IFS CORE sticker with a rainbow one, and it'll mean the same thing.

We have moved from tech to off topic and now into penis petting. I'm not objecting, after all, that's fun too, but we should at least change the title of the thread.

Hot Pocket!
