Notice about wireless winch control

I was looking for wiring diagrams for my Warn winch and found this notice from warn about using wireless remote systems with Warn winches.
Warn notice

Basically Warn does not recommend them because they do not utilize all of the wiring that Warn uses and bypass some of the safety features.

I have read that Mack on Warn's site, but I have used my Ramsey Wireless Remote with my Warn XD9000 a few times now, and I have no problems with it at all.

Works just like if you had the wired remote hooked up to it.

I wonder if there would be an issue with this wireless remote if Warn produced one.

Yep, there you have it, right from Ramsey.
No worries.

I really dig my Wireless Remote.

It will work up to about 100' away if need be.
