Next Steps.
Ok I now have a dailly driver and can play more with the 4runner, so the question stands. "What do I do next?" I know I need to regear no matter what.
#1 - 305's in a mud tire, MTR Geolander's ect. vs. my current 285 bfg at's
#2 - Re Gear with 4.88's front and rear and not worry about the locker yet.
#3 - Re Gear with 4.88's front and rear and do the rear locker. Does it make more since to do it at the same time, for installation reasons.
#4 - Get a Warn m8000 for the front.
#5 - Front skid and undercarage protection.
Any idea's, thoughts will be great. This way i know some other input to make decisions.
Thanks Guys
Eric

Well, first of all what does your off road driving usually consist of? Of the choices you listed I would probably go with #3 because you really don't want to regear then have to go and tear apart your diff again a second time to put in the locker, do ya'??? Makes more sense to me...

See thats the thing offroading will now increase becuase I dont have to depend on it being a DD. So basically typicall trial riding and Tellico every now and again.
As far as the rear end, I wasent sure about they difficulties and sequence of the locker and gear install. Meaning I don't know how they fit together, so that is why I was unsure about doing it at seperate times. Basically for money issues, howver, if it is that much more benefical to do together then i will just wait a little longer and do that.

locker, lift, tires, gears, winch, protection.
the lockers will get you deeper in the trails, then the tires and lifts will get you out of your lockered stuck truck... and you need the gears for the tires, and then when you have the locked, big tired, and geared rig stuck in the mud, and you know its bad, you can use the winch to get out...
