new shocks

new shocks

i am trying to find some new shocks to put under my 96 t100 4x4.. my old shocks are fine when im not offfroading, but when i am offroading or hauling a trailer or carrying my four wheeler in the bed, it seems like they bottom out.. what would be a good shock to put under my t100? any help is appreciated

The offroading part may be helped by new shocks. But as far as hauling goes, you need stiffer springs.

Not sure what model it would be for a T100 but I would go with OME as rocket said. They have several different models...for the Runners the rears are the N86, I have the comfort ones as I like that kind of ride and the heaviest thing I haul is a trailer with 2 4wheelers on it so its not all that bad...but I would go for with medium stiffness OME shock for your rig. You may have to give ARB a call or look on their site for more info on what model you need for the 100.

I run Rancho 9000's with the in-cab controls on my T100.

I've heard very positive reviews on the Bilsteins on a T100 also. I like the flexibility of being able to set the firmness of my shocks for varying conditions. I use my T100 as a daily driver, plus I tow my snowmobiles in the winter and I just ran the 100 mile White Rim Trail in Utah, last month. No complaints with the adjustable Rancho's.
