Talking

Search won't bite. And turn off your caps, por favor. It's just as annoying reading all capitalized words as it is every letter being caps.

What do you want to do with it? Is it just for "hey look I got a tall truck" or for 4wheeling on real trails or for desert run with high speed?

How will you use it? What size tires do you hope to run? You can run 33's with minimal mods to the suspension/body.

I am going to be doing quite a bit of offroading. i was hoping to find a 4 or 6inch lift for it. I wasnt sure what kind i should get. For my Yukon i went with TrailMaster, and i was very happy with how smooth the ride was, so i was looking for somthing like that. I would like to run 33" or 35" tires.

For the 2nd Gen 4Runners (90-95), there are simple mods to fit 33's.

Up front, balljoint spacer from SDORS.
Out back, coils to cure the sag (and add maybe an 1" of lift)
1" body lift.

Found the pinch weld at the rear of the front wheel well, trim the fender liner and if you have the stock bumper/valence, trim that also.

I have a threads abut BFG muds on here that shows how 33's fit on mine. I'll look for it later. FYI, I am running without the balljoint spacer on - have it, just not on yet.

Also a few companys make lift kits such as, Pro-Comp, Superlift, Trail Master, and i know there are a few others. I dont think you will find any kit taller than 4 inches though.

You don't need to get as high with the smaller trucks to prevent high centering. If I were you I'd consider what the others have suggested as far as suspenion and tires. It's a far less expensive route leaving funds for things like gears, lockers, sliders, bumpers...

Should you find you really want the 4" lift, I'd suggest Black Diamond. It appears to be quite tough. I'd stay away from the trialmaster, I have it, it's pretty reasonalbe from a price stand point but you're getting what you pay for and that's less.

The spacers are usable with the 4" lifts so you won't be wasting any dough with them either way.

I am running 33x10.50s with only PP rear coils and some SAW T-Bars cranked just a tad. I also trimmed a little plastic inside of the fender. When my current tires start to wear, I'm gonna spring for a 1" RB body lift so I can fit some 33x12.50s. All that, - the wheels and tires is less than $400 shipped, not a bad deal. 4Runners have great ground clearance stock so tire width is what you are looking for, not height for the most part. If you are gonna get really serious, you may want to rethink having big ol' 35" or greater meats on the stock IFS. Just a thought.
