new to the forum thing so sorry if my protocol isn't on par, got a 92 reg cab 3vze pick up, need to replace my clutch, trying to make a decision between a centerforce dual friction or an asin seco ceramic, are they even close to the same league? I would imagine not, price is not an object more so prefer to have a durable clutch but which maintains good drivability characteristics, anyone have a clue if the engagement for a dual friction is too harsh? or if it's even worth putting in on a stock 3vze engine, got 33inch bfg muds with stock diffs and I do take it off road so it will be slipping and getting hot from time to time, which brings me to the other topic, anyone know anything about the centerforce flywheels? if they are lighter than stock I think I'll pass but just any input would be much appreciated.

Welcome but don't have any info on those to clutchs. I'm running the seco 1200lbs clutch. I like it the 300lbs over stock doesn't make a big difference on feel, IMO.

 

much appreciated! thanks!, I'm actually leaning towards the centerforce just for the fact that the pressure plate fingers are convex, the seco clutch just has straight fingers, I've replaced a few clutches for collapsed fingers in the past, not very common but still a weak point, I have a buddy that worked at the local off road shop who recommended either, i only want tot do the job once until I do an engine swap so longevity is important. thanks again!
