Low profile bumpstops. Both or only compression?

Hello,

I've got some urethane low profile bumpstops and was wondering if I must use them only in the compression bumpstops or in the extension too.

My truck is lifted 4cm but I've the front a little lower than rear, I've never cranked the T-Bars.

I know that if I change the compression ones my 31's will rub a little in the plastic, because now at full turn and compression they're very very close, thing that I don't understand because you americans put 31's without problems (My truck had 215/80R15 from stock) and I don't get any rubbing but I'm very close (Maybe the backspace of my rims?):

If I put the low profile bumstops in compression and extension bumpstops, will the CV angle on full drop be dangerous? What would you do?

Thanks,

David

I used to run low profile bumpstop on the droop side. get manual hubs and you'll be fine. You can also hammer that seams down some more too.

I run low pro bumbstops both compression and droop and you will have no problems with CV angles or binding. I have a 2" body lift and run 33s in my '93 with no rubbing.

Take off or modify your mud flaps and hammer down the pinch seem and you will gain about 3/4" clearance there easy.

Where is your 4cm of lift from? If you rub with the new bumpstops you can always throw a 1" body lift in and that should solve the rubbing as well.

Well, my rear coils are expected to lift 4cm, but when I installed them I get the butt up and the front is only near 1'' lower (Only noticeable when measuring).

A BL yeah... In a future to put 33's but... Here we must do legal all the modifications to the trucks so we try to:

1) Do all at the same time and pay one time for the legalization
2) Do only the legal doable without legalization mods...

BL is one of that things you must pay to do legal... So I prefer to wait to have enought money to do and to do legal a SAS... (Dreaming it's free...)

Thanks,

David
