low pro bumpstops AND suspension lift?

Hey guys, I have a 91 4runner and have been thinking about doing a suspension lift on it. Probobly only 2 inches or so, dont care about looks, just want increased travel and offroad performance. I just put low profile bumpstops on from energy suspension and wanted to get front and rear quick discos, with alift AND low profile bumpstops, will the CV's have too much strain? Also, would I need to make custom discos for a lifted 4 runner? And I was thinking about getting an Old man emu suspension set up. What do you all think? Any other suggestions? I have 32in tires now but with a 2in lift would 32's look too small for the truck?
thanks,
Kyle

I have some ball joint spacers for sale.... 32 should be fine. use till they wear out or daily driving.. The CV's should be o.k. I would install some manual hubs if you don't already have them to minimize wear on them..

If you don't have BJ Spacers installed you'll be fine with low profile bumpstops.

If you do BJ Spacers then shim or reuse stock bumpstops in the extension ones. Compressions are fine with low profile.

I've this setup in the front:

- SDORI 1.5'' BJ Spacers
- Low profile compression bumpstops
- Stock extension bumpstops
- Quick disconnects

With this setup it flexes quite well for an IFS rig

Search a little on BJ Spacers or simply surf www.sdori.com

Basically the BJ Spacers separate the compression bumpstops from the extension ones, allowing more drop, this is why you don't want to put low-pro bumpstops in the extension, you'll overextend the CV's.

Also, the BJ Spacers let you win a little more height without running out of extension travel.

Thanks Mike, I'd prefer a SAS but...

David

PS: Ah! No, you don't have turbo diesels in the US, want one? I'd love a Limited 3rd Gen, but I don't sell mine!
