Look what I got today :) Pics
OK so my Coilovers just came in today from All-Pro. I am super excited. Now I just need to find some time to install them. I know they arent that hard to install but they didnt come with any instructions. Their website talks about installing their control arms and only mentions like 1 sentence on these. Does anybody have good step-by-step instructions for these? I couldnt find anything in tech section. I printed off the DR instructions, so I guess I can just use these if nothing else?
Oh and one question. When they are lined up right next to each other the top eyeholes are facing the same way but the bottem ones are not, if you know what I mean. See pics to see what I mean. Is this a problem????
Heres everything I got

Alligned at top

Not aligned at bottem. Problem????

Ok so I finally had a chance to install my coilovers today. Took me 3 hrs to complete, and thats me with no previous suspension work or knowldege. The first one was a PITA but the second got in alot easier. Some of the bolts are ridiculous to try to tighten but I got 'em. With the coils threaded all the way out to the bottem it gave me right at 2" so I have plenty of room to play but due to intense cv angles dont think Ill be goin higher yet. I havent gotten to try them off road yet, hopefully tomorrow.
Well I just wanted to give you guys some pics to look at.

jjrgr21: not sure how close they are to toytecs
And heres the before/after with tires, not the best but you can see the difference

Looks like your "coilovers" are on upside down. Continuing to run your shocks upside down will prematurely wear out your shocks. You should also crank them down until a bit of thread is exposed above to make sure you have the collar firmly on the threads.

dont look upside down to me...

he's talking about the shock itself.... most of the time you mount it can up
*edit* hmm... allpro's website shows it with the mounting plate the way Elkaholic has it.

Even if these are upside down. Like Mikronized said they are the same as the website but if they are wrong how much difference will it make before the shocks are shot? Are they gonna wear out like a whole lot faster or just a tad bit?
