LED bulbs

I know some folks were looking for new rear LED light sets. As a potential alternative, you might check these out (I haven't tried):

great idea. that's what i did for my clear taillights, b/c i was tired of buying those red glass bulbs every month, b/c they would turn pinkish-orange. i just bought the harness for the 1157 bulbs at autozone and modified the taillights until they fit into them and used the LED bulbs like in the pic...they work great!

I would recommend bulbs like these. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1157-...8746QQtcZphoto http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LED-1...5873QQtcZphotoThey are SMT LEDs and aren't quite class II LEDs, but they are a lot brighter than the class I 5mm LEDs that you find on most of these turn signals. Also, i have different units, but same LEDs on my truck, and they are BRIGHT, surprisingly.
