leaky e-locker

it appears that the motor on my e-locker is leaking a little bit of fluid. the pic shows the location. tried tighting , helped a bit but still a little wet.

any ideas anyone??

is there a gasket there that needs to be replaced??

Yeah there is a little "O" ring between the actuator and the housing and if that "O" ring is bad than that's your problem simply replace it with a new one.

Have you been playing in mud or water or just driving around on the street? If you have been playing around in mud/water than I would recomend pulling the drain plug on your diff and putting some new gear oil in there. If you have only been driving around on the road than I say don't worry about it. I don't really have a recomendation on where to get the "O" ring except maybe the dealer. Good luck man!

Your avatar shows you crossing some pretty deep water. If you haven't done a diff breather extension (see tech writeup section), I'd be willing to bet you have water in the diff and the gear oil is all milk shaky. I'd extend the diff breathers, drain the gear oil, replace the actuator o-ring, and refill with a nice synthetic (I use Redline Heavy Shockproof after reading 4Crawler's recommendation). Gears aren't cheap - take good care of them!
