Question Installing OME Front Now.. Question??

I am installing the ome front shocks and springs (Thanks Brian and Shawn!!) my question is this... one spring seems a bit longer than the other, does that go on the drivers side like I have read about in the rear set?

Hmmm...that rule really only applies to the rears. How much of a difference are you talking about?

you might want to put it on the drivers side since that is the gas tank side and on mine it is a little lower on the drivers side even with trim packer... just a thought...

I did put the slightly longer spring on the Drivers Side just in case. The install went pretty well. Because I have the Craftsman Spring Compressors, and the area they grab the springs with is pretty large I had to finesse the boot onto the shaft. The diff drop took hardly any time at all.

Quick take is that after just a drive around the block, the OME is really smooth. I was a bit concerned that it would be a bit too stiff, but it is way smoother than the stock stuff. I do detect quite a bit more body roll than stock, but that is just a quick evaluation. I will post a pic or two tomorrow and give a thorough review after Anza Borrego this weekend.

Thank you Brian, thank you Shawn.
