Hi lift won't lower

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKEs4eqFses&feature=youtube_gdata_player

It's in the lower position, I lubed it up with PB blaster.

I tried hitting it with a hammer a few times.

What is supposed to disengage the upper pin?

Spray some PB blaster all over the mechanism. Give it a min. Jack it up a notch, then try to jack it back down.

x2 on the above, also helps to have some weight on it when trying to get it to lower. Also I find I sometimes have to tap the lever down with a hammer or something like that to get it fully into the lower position. It'll go down part way by hand but not fully. Looks like yours may not be down all the way.
