Help!!! Noise from tranny or somewhere!

Well i have a 90 4runner and when i drive my car around 50mph and up and just when i started to let go of the gas pedal slowly and or slightly step on gas i heard a grinding/ big loud noise let there's not gear oil in the gears inside the tranny, but I've checked all the fluids and there all full. so any suggestion or help that i can get me to check the car? i also have a friend that have a 90 Landcrusier automatic that does the same thing too but his is an automatic and mines is the stick. but on mine when it does that noise i move the shifter to second gear and it kinda stop grinding but im not in second gear just move the shifter to second to stop noise only.

I had similar noises in my truck when left the gas pedal and the problem was my rear diff being bad adjusted (Lots of backslash).
