front diff

so ive completed my v8 swap. Im running a np 205 t case. and i have detroit tru tracs front and rear. So i guess my question is this what are the wires and vacum lines on the front diff for??? are they necessary??? any help would be much appreciated

Im guessing you have ADD. The vacuum lines operate the ADD. You can supply vacuum to one of the lines and you will have 4WD.

Don't even worry about it - you're gonna grenade that diff if you put it in 4WD with a V8 ... time for a SAS

yeah i know now that i can supply a constant vacum source for 4wd, thanks guys. SAS is in the future but i need it to work for now. that 4x4 wire link helps lots thanks again
