Engine runs fine in park, but stumbles in drive

Hi all, this is my first post here. i'v got a 92 toyota pickup 3.0L made only for the mud. so far iv scrolled threw countless threads but i havnt seen anything with my symptoms! when the truck is in park it will rev up just fine and for the first minute while moving, then it bog down like its starving for fuel . i'v checked the fuel filter and fuel pump and they seem to be working well. any ideas?

Well, I would start with the easy stuff. Is you check engine light on? Have you changed plugs/wires/cap/rotor? If so, compression test? Got good exhaust flow?

I have the same problem, when in reverse or drive (while stopped) the RPMs drop down to about 500 and it shakes something fierce, sounds like it's about to stall. I was thinking maybe the timing. But when in park it idles fine, at about 800

No, the check engine light isnt on. As for the plugs and wires the plugs are new the wires are not ill see ig i can get ahold of some tomorrow and see if that makes a difference. Has no problem with exhaust flow its running straight pipes at the moment. Thanks for the quick reply team420!
