drive line

ok well today i was driveing my truck around on my line and i came around this corner and 3 of my blots broke on it and one was hanging on and it put a big dent in my gas tank and in my drive line and i was wondering if my driveline with this dent in it all right cuase. i would jus tput it back on but i dont wanna be stuiped and put it back on and break more stuff so iam going to be safe

you need to have it fixed. once you get a dent in a drive shaft it wount take much to twist it and that could do more damage.

how would i get it fix?

i maybe just buy a new one if its a pain to fix

If it is a stock shaft, find a used one out of a similar truck at the junkyard. Or take it to a drive line shop and have it re-tubed. You can have a heavier wall tubing installed which will make for a stronger shaft, less likely to dent in the future.

ya time fore a new driveline... check the driveline stores around you.. they may be able to reuse some of the parts and make a cheaper one

yea i was looking at alltoyota down in buckley close were i live they want like 100$ for a used drive line i still ahve like 2 more place to look at

call a drivetain shop and see how much they would charge to retube your driveshaft with 1/4 wall tube. then you wount have to worry about it any more. they sould be able to use all the parts off your old shaft so it sould cost to much.
