The Dilema of Balancing Big Tires
#21
This is a bubble balancer. One of my boggers took like 3 then if I remember right, had one that took 12. Just have to do each one. It's kinda PITA pending on which Beadlocks you go with. TR's won't seperate without a hydraulic tyre tool.
Spent hours jumpin up and down on them trying to beat that tire off the rim to no avail.

$40 to balance (5) 37/12.50/15s at the local tire place...they wanted to use Equal...said "no way"...they used $40 worth of lead easy...but they are much smooter now. When I beadlock the wheels...who cares then.

Hey Brian... here's a Yotatecher that uses the Dyna Beads stuff if you haven't seen the thread yet... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...tive+balancing
I think the idea is good. I think they use them in Semi Truck tires and then there's this guy with a giant Dodge with beadlocks and claims that there isn't any vibration at all. There's also this tesimonial:
"...
I did want to let you know that the 10oz of Dyna beads per wheel/tire combo is working great, all the way up to 75mph with absolutely no vibrations. This is with my 37x12.50-16 tires that weigh 75lb on a 16x8 wheel that comes in at 60lbs. The combo is 140lb each, about 30-40lb more than the typical combo.
